Job Description

Desired Background & Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a school environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current therapy practices and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create tailored intervention plans for students
  • Deliver direct therapy services individually and in groups
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress toward goals
  • Educate families, teachers, and staff on strategies to support students needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
  • Maintain compliance with state, federal, and school policies
