Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Maryland
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to address students needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive environment for students

Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and identify barriers to learning or participation in school activities
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and goals in collaboration with educational teams
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Document progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Engage with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success and facilitate accommodations
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to promote students engagement and independence
