Qualifications & Experience:
- Active or eligible Occupational Therapy license in Maryland
- Experience in school-based OT or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of IEP processes and relevant documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to evidence-based practice
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate students needs using standardized tools and collaborate on individualized educational programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily activities
- Work closely with teachers, families, and school teams to support student access and participation
- Document progress, maintain records, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Educate staff and caregivers on classroom strategies and assistive technology
