What Youll Bring:
- Active MD SLP license
- Experience or strong interest in working with K12 students
- Background in managing mixed caseloads, particularly students with a variety of speech and language disabilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive, achievement-oriented learning environment
- Compassion, resourcefulness, and adaptability in addressing the unique needs of each student
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to about 25 students with diverse disabilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy programs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to tailor strategies for student success
- Monitor and document progress, maintaining accurate and thorough records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to holistic educational plans
- Engage regularly with staff and families to support student development and academic progress
