Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, or high school preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and school-based therapeutic practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and fellow therapists
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Adaptability for working across a variety of school levels and student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide evidence-based interventions for students with diverse physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary meetings to support whole-child development and educational progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to the creation and monitoring of IEP goals
  • Consult with classroom teachers, staff, and families to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies throughout the school day
  • Participate in professional development and stay current on best practices in school-based occupational therapy
