Job Description

This rewarding contract position offers both full and part-time opportunities, with flexible schedules for up to 40 hours per week. Youll collaborate with school staff and families to help students reach their full potential, supporting their growth and development every step of the way.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan
  • Experience or strong interest in working with children and adolescents in a school setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptable to diverse student needs and learning environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous school-based OT experience is a plus, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct Occupational Therapy interventions to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and participation
  • Monitor student outcomes and update documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
  • Offer support and resources to educators and families regarding strategies to facilitate student success
