An opportunity is available for a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students in Sanders, AZ, with services designed to foster their fine motor skills, sensory integration, adaptive functioning, and overall participation in school activities. This school-based contract position offers approximately 12 hours per week, spread over two days, with a caseload of 810 students needing targeted occupational therapy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations to assess student needs
• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions focused on fine motor development and sensory processing
• Thoroughly documenting student progress and therapy outcomes
• Managing travel time within the designated 12 weekly hours if applicable

The caseload model allows for direct interaction with students across all K12 grade levels, facilitating meaningful impact on their educational experience. Flexibility regarding a hybrid work model may be available pending confirmation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy License is required
• Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory for credentialing
• Experience and skills related to school-based occupational therapy, including knowledge of fine motor skills, sensory integration techniques, and adaptive functioning strategies
• Comfort working within a school environment and collaborating with educational staff
