Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• State OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency conducting assessments, developing individualized interventions, and maintaining documentation
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with educators, families, and students
• Adaptability and flexibility to serve diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative Occupational Therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine student eligibility and progress
• Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, and parents on intervention strategies
• Document all sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
• Support school staff with training and resources related to motor skills, sensory integration, and accommodations
