In this flexible, part-time contract role, you'll manage a diverse caseload of children, ages 2 to 18, presenting mainly with mild to moderate needs. Clinical focus includes pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing delays, and high-functioning autism. The setting underscores personalized careyou'll work with children one-on-one, maximizing impact and building meaningful connections.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida OT license required
- Must have or obtain Medicaid provider number
- At least one year of experience in school or pediatric outpatient settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric clients
- Provide direct therapy onsite (one child at a time)
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain accurate treatment notes and progress reports
- Utilize evidence-based interventions for clients aged 2-18
