Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
You will be working in a pediatric outpatient setting -
See one child per hour (manageable, low-stress pace)
Ages 218 years old
Caseload includes mostly mild to moderate needs
Focus areas:
Pragmatics, receptive/expressive language
Reading and writing delays
Articulation
High-functioning autism
No medically fragile patients
Therapy Structure
1-hour sessions:
52 minutes direct therapy
8 minutes for transitions & documentation
Progress notes completed during sessions (no extra take-home paperwork!)
Straightforward documentation system with clear Plan of Care goals for easy tracking
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
(fine motor, sensory integration, self-care, visual-motor skills, etc.)
Deliver engaging, functional therapy sessions
Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Supportive, collaborative clinic environment
