Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Medicaid provider number required
• Previous experience in school or pediatric outpatient settings preferred
• Knowledge and skill in working with children on pragmatics, receptive and expressive language, reading, writing delays, and high-functioning autism spectrum
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation abilities
• Ability to engage in collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual sessions, seeing one child at a time
• Assess, evaluate, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide targeted therapy for children with delays or autism, supporting communication, daily living, and academic skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions
• Adapt approach based on each childs unique needs and progress
• Track and document intervention outcomes and client progress
• Maintain compliance with Medicaid and regulatory standards
