A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced Occupational Therapists to provide essential support in educational settings. This role offers both full and part-time positions, allowing flexibility with up to 40 hours per week. Serving students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, the therapist will play a key part in helping children develop functional skills necessary for academic success and daily life.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each students goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Monitor and document student performance and adjust therapy techniques accordingly
- Promote independence and enhance participation in school activities and routines
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid state credentials
- Experience working with children in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational regulations
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators and families
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate records efficiently
