Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan
  • Experience working with school-aged children in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong knowledge of sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, and adaptive strategies
  • Ability to conduct assessments, write IEP goals, and implement effective therapy plans
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptable, compassionate, and dedicated to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in school settings
  • Complete assessments to identify student strengths and areas requiring support
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support students access to the curriculum
  • Document services, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school policies
  • Support students in building functional skills for classroom participation and daily living tasks
