What were seeking:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with school-aged children, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Familiarity with IEP processes and progress documentation
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adaptability in diverse school settings and a collaborative mindset
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in classroom activities

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted therapy plans
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate strategies into daily routines
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Advocate for tools and accommodations to support student participation
• Educate staff and caregivers on OT strategies to maximize student success
