An opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students during the 2026-2027 school year in Hillsboro, OR. This contract role focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services within a school setting, enhancing students functional abilities and promoting their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Provide services through various modalities including in-person school settings, teletherapy, and home health visits as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports compliant with educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust interventions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure for the state of Oregon.
- Experience working with school-age children in educational or healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and home health occupational therapy.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and K-12 instructional environments.
