Job Description

Make a difference in students lives by providing essential occupational therapy services throughout the summer session. This school-based opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse K-12 caseload near Highland Park, IL, in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
  • Comfortable working with a K-12 student population and adapting strategies to various developmental stages
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
  • Availability onsite for the ESY program running from 6/15 to 7/17

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support students educational goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services in alignment with IEPs
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to enhance student participation and independence in the school environment
  • Maintain accurate records regarding student progress and services provided
  • Offer training, strategies, and support to staff and caregivers to promote student success across classroom and community settings
