Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
  • Previous school-based OT experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Ability to work effectively with K-12 students of varying abilities
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver targeted OT services to support students' academic and functional participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
