What youll bring:
- Active Florida Occupational Therapy License
- Experience in school settings or comparable environments
- Skills and knowledge related to OT in schools, OT in home health, and healthcare-based OT
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Passion for helping children succeed in academic and social settings
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to students in grades K12 on an onsite basis
- Manage a caseload, performing assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Adapt interventions based on student needs, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and classroom demands
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations relevant to school-based OT
