Key Qualifications:
- Current Florida OT license and in good standing
- Experience or strong interest in working in educational and pediatric environments
- Previous work in OT either healthcare, school, or home health settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills
- Ability to provide effective supervision for COTAs and support best practices in therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services onsite to students, addressing individual needs as part of the educational team
- Supervise COTAs, guiding their clinical practice and overseeing documentation
- Assess, plan, and implement customized interventions to support students abilities and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and update individualized therapy goals
- Maintain compliance with state and district documentation and procedural requirements
