Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Florida OT License
  • Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy, home health, or healthcare OT settings
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapting therapy plans for school-aged children (grades K-10)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services based on student IEPs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills needed for academic participation
  • Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with school and professional guidelines
  • Communicate student progress and recommendations with educators and family members
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with team members to support holistic student development
