Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth and functional development as an onsite Occupational Therapist serving TK12th grade learners across several school sites. This position spans from August 6, 2026, to February 12, 2027, with the possibility of extension throughout the academic year. You'll contribute your expertise by guiding students toward greater access and participation in their educational journeys in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist licensure in California
- Proven experience leading and participating in IEP meetings
- Familiarity with the SEIS system strongly preferred
- Confidence using digital documentation platforms and tech tools
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt services to a range of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to approximately 55 students across multiple school sites
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and student success
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation and service records in compliance with district protocols
- Foster functional skill development to improve student participation in school activities and daily routines
