Desired Background & Skills:
- Current Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Montana
- Background working with children or adolescents, preferably in school settings
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborative spirit for consultation with teachers, families, and support staff
- Adaptability to changing priorities and different student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support IEP goals
- Teach students strategies for fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Work directly with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
- Monitor student progress, maintain records, and provide regular updates to parents/guardians
- Offer guidance and resources to families to support student success at home
