Step into an exciting contract role supporting students as a valued Occupational Therapist for the academic year! This opportunity offers the chance to work with a dedicated school community, making a real impact from the comfort of your own space. The anticipated commitment is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and begins as soon as possible, continuing through the end of the school year.
Leverage your expertise in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare therapy while supporting a diverse caseload across various grade levels. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential in both academic and functional skills. Supervision is available, ensuring youll have guidance while working independently via a fully remote platform.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active CA Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in school settings, home health, or healthcare-based OT roles preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-related documentation
- Strong communication and organization skills in a virtual environment
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to school goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to students
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and support IEP team goals
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reporting per district requirements
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in remote meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
