Job Description

This part-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is based onsite in Hayward, CA, serving a school setting from August 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026. The position involves working approximately 20 hours per week with a caseload of 22 students spanning Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. Standard occupational therapy duties designed to support student development and success are a key focus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized occupational therapy services to students in the school environment
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to implement therapy plans
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with program standards

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapist license is required
  • Experience working with children in early education through elementary school is preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teamwork
