Job Description

Discover an exciting contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in the lives of TK-5 students. This onsite, part-time position spans from August 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026, featuring a manageable caseload of 22 students and a supportive educational environment. Your skills will help foster students independence, classroom engagement, and overall development.

What we look for:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and documentation requirements
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect OT services for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain timely and accurate progress notes, IEP documentation, and compliance with district and state regulations
  • Support and educate school staff and caregivers on strategies for student participation and skill building
