A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available for a contracted K-12 school role in Hayward, CA. This onsite opportunity extends from ASAP through May 29, 2026, supporting students across all grade levels with tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at fostering academic and functional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized OT services to K-12 students, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor skill challenges.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in professional development activities and utilize mentorship resources to enhance clinical skills.
- Ensure compliance with California state licensure standards and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Current California license for Occupational Therapy practice is mandatory.
- Experience working in school-based environments with K-12 caseloads preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with educational staff and families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and adherence to ethical standards of practice.
