Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist near Haverhill, MA. This part-time position runs through the end of the school year, working directly with a caseload of 20-22 students across PreK to 8th grade at a single school site. You'll collaborate with staff to support student independence, functional skills, and learning outcomes in an inclusive environment.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts OT license required
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt interventions as needed
  • Comfortable using virtual platforms for meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services as guided by student IEPs, with a caseload focus (no itinerant travel)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Provide therapy both directly to students and through consultation with teachers and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations (admin time included)
  • Utilize provided therapy space within the school
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district procedures
