Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for an OT seeking a position with focused hours, working closely with PreK and high school students to support their social-emotional and behavioral growth. Youll collaborate with educators and families while gaining valuable experience in both elementary and high school ASD programs.

What Youll Bring:

  • Active and current Occupational Therapist license for Massachusetts
  • Experience or training in school-based OT practices
  • Background working with PreK populations, especially those with social-emotional, behavioral, or mild ASD needs
  • Familiarity with high school-aged students on the autism spectrum (ASD)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills
  • A forward-thinking, flexible, and compassionate approach to student care

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT services to PreK students with social-emotional, behavioral, and ASD support needs
  • Provide targeted interventions for high schoolers with autism in collaboration with school teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized therapy plans
  • Track student progress and document sessions accurately
  • Work closely with teachers and families to ensure continuity of care
  • Contribute expertise to a multidisciplinary team and adapt to evolving student needs

Position Details:

  • Contract dates: July 6, 2026 August 13, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30am 2:30pm (22 hours per week)
  • Work setting: PreK and high school programs, serving students with ASD and behavioral needs
