Make a difference in students lives by providing essential occupational therapy services within a supportive school environment on a contract basis. Youll work closely with educators and families to improve student outcomes, applying your expertise to help children build the skills they need to thrive in the classroom.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student achievement
• Offer in-class strategies and recommendations for accommodations
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in relevant professional development
