Youll collaborate with educators, students, and families to assess needs, craft and implement personalized therapy plans, and track progress toward individual goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for Pennsylvania
• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (or higher)
• Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations
• Strong understanding of IEP procedures and related documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and abilities
• Exceptional organizational and record-keeping abilities
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs
• Collaborate with teachers and special educators to develop effective intervention strategies
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans for students
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on occupational therapy services
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom, group, and one-on-one settings
• Provide training and resources for educational staff and families
• Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
