A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve multiple schools within the Berkeley County School District, located in Hanahan, SC. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide essential therapy services that support student development and success in educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district and state regulations.
- Support students in improving functional skills necessary for classroom participation and daily living.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina OT or COTA license is required.
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy is preferred.
