Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Background in school-based OT, home health, or healthcare OT practice
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy interventions and IEP documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, families, and other professionals
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students occupational needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to help students achieve educational and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student support
- Promote student independence and advocate for appropriate classroom accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
- Adapt services and techniques to fit diverse learning profiles and school environments
