With a manageable caseload of 45 to 50 students ranging from elementary through middle school, youll have the opportunity to use your expertise to make a lasting impact.
Ideal candidates will bring proven skills in school-based occupational therapy, as well as experience in home health or healthcare OT settings. If youre passionate about fostering student success and thrive in collaborative environments, this role is an excellent fit.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
- Background in school-based OT, pediatric settings, or healthcare/home health environments preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to develop tailored intervention plans in an educational context
- Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of students (elementary to middle school)
- Evaluate and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide recommendations for adaptive strategies or accommodations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decisions
