Job Description
This position offers a valuable opportunity for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support to students from elementary through middle school in a K-12 educational setting located in Hampstead, NC. This contract role spans the normal school year, with a commitment of 39 hours per week, focusing on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services that help students achieve their developmental and educational goals.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 45 to 50 students, assessing their needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educational professionals and families to support student success. This role requires hands-on therapy delivered onsite, ensuring direct engagement with each students unique challenges and educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina license as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 45 to 50 students effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Commitment to supporting childrens developmental and educational progress
