Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred

• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Adaptability and a solutions-focused approach in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop targeted intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress
• Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Monitor, document, and communicate student outcomes and progress regularly
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable OT insights to support student plans
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies, accommodations, and assistive devices to enhance student participation and outcomes
• Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education in school-based occupational therapy
