Job Description

Step into a meaningful role providing school-based occupational therapy services for the 2026-2027 academic year. Located near Columbus, GA, this onsite opportunity calls for dedicated OTs or experienced COTAs who are passionate about supporting students academic and developmental growth. Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Valid Georgia Occupational Therapy License required
  • Minimum one year of clinical OT experience, with preference for pediatric and/or school-based therapy
  • School-experienced COTAs encouraged to apply; preference given to those with proven success in educational settings
  • Strong collaborative skills, eager to partner with educators, families, and school teams
  • Able to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions in an onsite school environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to work across different schools based on district needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment strategies, and monitor student progress
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize students participation in school activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and compliance with district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to support each students goals
  • Adapt services and schedules proactively as caseload and school assignments are finalized
