Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state OT licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt and manage a diverse caseload
  • Collaborative spirit and a commitment to supporting student development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students functional abilities and needs within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with students IEPs and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student success
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to address fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and adaptive skills
  • Document all evaluations, sessions, and progress reports in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and recommendations
  • Provide training and resources to school staff and families as needed
