Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. Collaborate onsite with a dedicated K-12 student population and support their growth through hands-on, therapeutic intervention. There are three full-time positions available, each offering the chance to work closely with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to create a positive educational experience.
This role provides the ideal setting for travel therapists eager to make a difference or professionals ready for a dynamic new chapter. The position runs from August 2026 to June 2027 and requires 37.5 hours per week, ensuring both structure and meaningful work with students across grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Competence in serving K-12th grade students with diverse needs
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Adaptability and professionalism in a school environment
- Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track student progress
- Provide interventions addressing fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
- Document services in accordance with school and compliance standards
- Serve as a valued resource for teachers and staff to optimize student success
- Attend meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
