An occupational therapy opportunity is available in an onsite school setting in Gretna, Louisiana, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade. This full-time contract position involves managing a high caseload designed to provide essential therapeutic services aimed at enhancing students functional abilities and educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for PreK-8th grade students
• Collaborate with educators and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Louisiana
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
• Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while maintaining quality care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
