Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students. Located in the scenic area of Marmet, West Virginia, this position offers the chance to positively influence students growth and well-being throughout the academic year.

As an OT in this role, youll collaborate with educators and families to deliver crucial therapy services tailored to a diverse group of learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. The caseload specifics will be shared upon client confirmation, but you can expect meaningful day-to-day engagement helping young people maximize their participation and success at school.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for West Virginia required
• Prior experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 age groups and special education environments
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
• Must pass all West Virginia credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
• Evaluate, document, and report progress for each student
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop and monitor individualized intervention plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the creation of supportive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies
