Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide Occupational Therapy services across a school district in Granite Falls, WA, serving a diverse student population ranging in age from 3 to 22 years. The role requires working onsite full time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, from now through June 12, 2026, with the possibility to extend into the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations and interventions to students with various needs across the district.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development and educational goals.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students with support from an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license is required.
  • Experience in school-based Occupational Therapy is not mandatory, making this role suitable for candidates seeking to enter this setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage a sizable caseload efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to serving diverse student populations with sensitivity and professionalism.
