Job Description

This contract-based opportunity near Grand Rapids, MI offers both full-time and part-time options, allowing flexibility in your schedule up to 40 hours per week. Youll play a key role in helping students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels reach their full potential by delivering specialized support tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation is preferred
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping students succeed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students needs
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy interventions in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation of services and student outcomes
  • Deliver direct therapy to individuals or small groups in a variety of school settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student needs
  • Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
