Occupational Therapist Educational Settings | Grand Ledge, MI
Seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels within a dynamic school environment. This role offers both full-time and part-time contract opportunities, with up to 40 hours per week available to fit your schedule and career goals.
Location: Grand Ledge, MI
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to the developmental and educational needs of students from elementary through high school.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized education and therapy plans.
- Assess student abilities and challenges, providing interventions that enhance participation in school activities and promote independence.
- Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in the state of Michigan.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred, especially across elementary, middle, and high school age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with school staff, families, and students.
