Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state OT license required
  • Previous experience working with children or in school-based roles preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support classroom participation
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to the school team
  • Adapt interventions and techniques tailored to students unique physical, sensory, and cognitive needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and collaborative planning sessions
