Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in North Dakota (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide therapy services to students with a range of abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals in line with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of assessments and progress notes
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development activities
- Adapt and modify activities and environments to support student participation
- Educate staff and families on strategies to foster students' independence and functional skills
