This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students within a school setting located in Grand Forks AFB, ND. This contract role offers the chance to apply your expertise to help children develop essential skills, improve daily living activities, and enhance their educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
- Provide direct therapy services focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive techniques
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license and credentials
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
- Knowledge of special education regulations and IEP processes preferred
