Job Description

A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Grand Blanc, MI, supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time schedules, with up to 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual and group occupational therapy services to students
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
  • Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Supporting students' participation in school activities by addressing sensory, motor, and functional abilities

Desired qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and school-based practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
