Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Michigan
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Familiarity with working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to provide therapeutic interventions that support students access to educational programming
• Commitment to tailoring support to meet a variety of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess and document students needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies within the classroom and school routine
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in student support and IEP meetings as necessary
• Contribute your expertise to supportive and interdisciplinary team environments
