Flexible contract roles are open for both full-time and part-time schedules, up to 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Michigan
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
- Familiarity with working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to provide therapeutic interventions that support students access to educational programming
- Commitment to tailoring support to meet a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess and document students needs, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies within the classroom and school routine
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in student support and IEP meetings as necessary
- Contribute your expertise to supportive and interdisciplinary team environments
