Job Description

This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in early childhood and elementary education, serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade in an in-person, full-time capacity within a school setting. The role is based in Grand Blanc, MI, and is contracted for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services tailored to children in Pre-K through 5th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assess students needs and progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches accordingly.
  • Support students in developing skills that enhance participation in school activities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to team discussions regarding student support strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a valid Michigan Occupational Therapy License.
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in elementary school and Pre-K environments.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy techniques suitable for early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
  • Ability to manage a full-time, in-person schedule from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
