Job Description

Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy as either an OT or COTA to an Early Interventionist team focused on children ages 3-4. This onsite role offers the fulfillment of directly facilitating developmental progress in a school setting, with a balanced, flexible schedule.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Louisiana OT or COTA license required
  • Experience in school-based settings, particularly working with early childhood populations
  • Strong commitment to supporting childrens growth and fostering their independence
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working with educators and support teams
  • If applying as a COTA, openness to onsite supervision

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in line with individualized education plans for young students
  • Work alongside an interdisciplinary Early Interventionist Team to address sensory, motor, and adaptive skill development
  • Provide services onsite four days per week, splitting time between two locations (2 days North, 2 days South)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and outcomes as required by school policies
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure the highest standard of care
