Job Description

Discover an enriching opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elementary school students as a contract Occupational Therapist for the spring semester. This full-time, onsite position works across three welcoming school buildings and is ideal for a licensed OT who thrives in dynamic educational settings and enjoys collaborating within a supportive community.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license, meeting all state requirements
  • Experience providing OT services to pediatric or school-aged students (elementary preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage caseload across multiple locations
  • Ability to deliver both direct therapy and support assessment, paperwork, and planning needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to a dedicated group of students, with scheduled caseloads of 10 on Mondays, 7 on Tuesdays, 10 on Wednesdays, and 8 on Thursdays
  • Rotate between three elementary school buildings, adapting interventions to each setting
  • Use Fridays for assessments, evaluations, documentation, and preparation to best support your caseload
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to develop individualized plans and monitor progress
  • Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure effective delivery of services and goal achievement for students
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
