Desired Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
• Experience in school-based OT preferred; home health, healthcare, or teletherapy backgrounds valued
• Strong understanding of pediatric and elementary school interventions
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Comfort adapting to varied student needs within diverse educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy to elementary school students
• Assess student needs and develop targeted treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize support
• Document evaluations, progress, and outcomes according to local and state standards
• Participate in IEP development and meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
• Encourage engagement in classroom routines and activities
• Stay current on best practices and maintain licensure requirements
