Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support multiple schools in the Goose Creek, SC area. This contract position offers a full-time schedule supporting students within the school environment, providing essential therapeutic services to enhance educational participation and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students' individual needs within the school setting.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and school policies related to occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina OT or COTA license.
  • Experience working in a school-based occupational therapy role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and school staff.
