Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Arizona
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability to develop effective, individualized therapy plans
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and parents
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct student screenings and comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Interpret results and communicate findings clearly with the IEP team and families
• Develop, implement, and regularly monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and/or 504 plans tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services to identified students, both individually and within group settings
• Offer guidance and support to teachers, as well as supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
