Job Description

Bring your expertise in school-based occupational therapy to a welcoming district in the Gooding area, where youll support student success across a close-knit network of schools. In this onsite, full-time contract position, youll collaborate with another experienced OT to ensure high-quality services for approximately 400-500 students with IEPs. Assignments are thoughtfully divided, and all schools are conveniently located within just blocks of each othermaking your daily travel efficient and stress-free.

This role runs from August 17, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and is ideal for a dedicated OT ready to make a profound impact on students educational journeys. Travel candidates are encouraged to apply; relocation to the area is required.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
  • Active OT license in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Demonstrated experience in a school-based OT setting, including knowledge of IEP processes
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working districtwide and adapting to different school environments
  • Committed to delivering services onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with IEPs, supporting their academic success and independence
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document student progress
  • Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
