Make an impact supporting students as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working in the Montecito, CA area. This in-person, part-time contract opportunity focuses on meeting the needs of school-aged children and collaborating with educational teams to help students succeed. Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in California required
- Experience working in schools preferred
- Knowledge of school-based OT practices, including IEP documentation and treatment planning
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess students functional abilities, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement interventions
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Offer strategies and recommendations to improve students participation and independence within the school setting
